Weaver Street Musicians and 'Weavestock'

We all know that you can't swing a cat at Weaver Street Market Co-operative, without hitting a performance artist of one sort or another. And now the co-op is stepping up to support us.

First up. The Southern Village store is starting a Wednesday evening series of outdoor cafe gigs and wine-tastings. Dylan Shrader will be performing from the Americana Songbook this coming Wednesday (July 10 @ 5.30pm). And then POP VOX will be going Unplugged the following Wednesday (July 17 @5.30pm). [Unplugged means, without the gyrating and dancing - just for one evening!]

Following that, on Thursday, July 25, WSM will be staging 'Weavestock,' an evening of Weaver Street Musicians, on the Carrboro store lawn, 5.00pm - 9.00pm. Acts will likely include: POP VOX (the hi-energy, interactive version!), Radar's Clowns of Sedation (Pete Pawsey), Canine Heart Sounds (Matt McElroy) and Fanghole (Chris Felton).
